Welcome to the home of St. Erth Concert Band.

 

The band consists of both brass and woodwind players from amateur right up to grade 8 level players.

 

We play a varied repertoire from classical to pop, jazz and swing to movie soundtracks and everything between.

 

For those who are learning an instrument we also offer individual or group lessons to help you improve your skills, plus free loan of an instrument if you do not have access to one.

 

We welcome anyone that would like to come and sit in the band to have a go, but to join us on concerts & gigs we would prefer you to be about grade 3 standard. If you are not quite at this standard, our Musical Director, George Lawry, and other members of the band will help coach you to this standard using ABRSM guidelines.

 

We meet on Tuesday evenings from 7.30pm till 9.30pm, at the Methodist Church Hall in St.Erth. Individual lessons and group sessions are run from 6pm.
